Introduced in 2010 as a minimalist running shoe, the Kinvara 1 was Saucony's answer to the barefoot trend and now joins the retro running category as a lightweight, low-profile option. The upper pairs a layer of light mesh with an open knit to improve breathability, while the side panel incorporates an internal structure for light support. On the sole, rubber and EVA lugs act as independent pistons to encourage a better connection with the ground and a more natural stride.
